Love Knows No Age
Thou still unravished bride of quietness,
A beautiful flowery tale,
Forever young; forever warm,
Breathing human passion far above
A friend to man; forever happy love
In old age, outer beauty shall fade,
Her silken flanks will wither,
But he shall not be turned away
For beauty is beauty, whether in or out,
Love holds strong for it knows;
That her beauty will shine for years,
Through all of the woes,
Only a true love does this know.
