An Enemy – could send –

Secure against its own –
No treason it can fear –
Itself – its Sovereign – of itself
The Soul should stand in Awe –

I chose this poem because it made me think about myself and i realized that the poem was very true. Many times people have internal conflicts or battles with themselves and i think this poem demonstrates how your soul can either be intertwined with you or can be completely seperate. Your soul can make you question yourself and either drive you nuts or keep you sane.
